Rock and Roll Rugby Road Trips

These movies gave us great road trips!
But,
Remember Rugby players do it a bit differently
Exiles is a perfect example
of a Rugby Road Trip
Idiot Brother #11 provided PAC with a great Road Trip in 2000 to West Chester, PA. A follow up trip during Mardi Gras weekend also took place. Read about these tours (CITS 2000 and 2001) below. A write up on the movie Exiles, directed by Canadian Rugger Rob Gereghty and links to other Road trips are listed below. Cheers and remember, the best road trip is the most random. Good luck
While Super Boy's Tour to PA was successful and a great deal of fun, many times it is the road trip that is the spur of the moment that works the best. Or better yet, the one returning from a rugby game. The stories below will entertain you with accounts from West Chester, Canada and much of the Western US. Enjoy! If you would like a copy of the movie Exiles, click on the Exiles link
and order a copy there.
While it looks as if Montana is Break dancing.....this is merely gravity showing its nasty effects on inebriated 350 pound prop. Three of four casualties walked away from this accident. One unfortunate female suffered a sprained ankle. Handsome Pete helps one of the West Chester girls up from the dancing mishap |
Exiles (1999) [A Rugby Movie]
"[T]his is a film for rugby players made by a rugby player."
Bobby's 33 years old and ready to retire as captain of the Minneapolis Exiles Rugby Team, but before he hangs up his cleats he has one last road-trip in him for a trophy he's never won, the SNAFU cup. The Exiles arrange a first-class weekend for the SNAFU tournament in
Winnipeg, Canada to honor their retiring players and send them off in style,
but Bobby's fun ends all too soon when the Exiles coach is detained by
Customs, leaving Bobby in charge of the road-trip and a team of misfits.
